Diva Dawson is back, and this time the controversy is about a small little youtuber named Comicfire. It all started a while ago when Shane Dawson out of the goodness of his heart decided to give comicfire a shout out. According to comicfire himself this shoutout got him over 20,000 subscribers and that was all good untill a theif broke into his house and stole all of his equiptment. Shane Dawson decided he would help Comicfire get his channel started again by putting him in a video.
Comicfire drove hours down to Santa Monica to record the video when Shane Dawson told him that he was going to need to reschedule the video shoot because one of his relatives died. Comicfires claims his response was that, “It sucks that his relative died and that I understood because I cant make videos when I am depressed either.” Shane went on to ask him how much longer he would be in town and Comicfire said a month.
Fast forward a little bit to Vidcon 2012 where Comicfire met Shane Dawson in person, befriended him, and even got his phone number. Comicfire then decided he had waited enough time since the passing of Shane’s relative and needed to get this video going because he was loosing relevancy on youtube (sorry comicfire, don’t you know that you cant loose what you never had) so he texted Shane, and asked him when this video was going to happen. Shane texted back saying that he didn’t like his tone in his last email, “I told you my grandpa just died and you responded by telling me how much longer you would be in town.” Comicfire claims that he was sympathetic towards Shane’s loss and only told him how much longer he was in town because he had asked. Comic then goes on to calling Shane a Hollywood prick/fa*got.
Who’s side are you on, teamcomicfire, or teamshanedawson?
